Job Description

Responsibilities:

On a daily basis, responsible for testing, analyzing, and validating test methods, and reporting on test results related to food, raw materials, water and other products.
Participate in laboratory operations (e.g., monitoring chemistry laboratory operation).
Ensure that high quality standards are maintained at all times in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures and ISO17025.
Maintain and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
Ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained at scheduled intervals.
Troubleshoot and work with external contractors on equipment for repair and maintenance.
Ensure that Company and customer expectations are consistently met in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner.
Maintain a clean laboratory.
Assist with other activities as required, which may be periodically requested by the management.
Requirements:

Degree in Chemistry
Must have in-depth experience in using ICP-OES, ICP-MS and GC-MS equipment. Also, must have experience in analyzing results produced from this equipment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial chemistry laboratory operations
Strong attention to detail and someone who strives to achieve excellent outcomes
Proven ability to coordinate and manage several work activities simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
Ability to work independently and as team player to achieve the Company’s common goal
Able to work 5.5 days per week
